Barb Franck is the manager of our Cookie Cupboard. You know Barb for her connection with our cookies. As we need them for cookie sales, cookie exchanges, we visit her a few weeks every year in February and March. Barb volunteered to take over our Cookie Cupboard about 8 years ago when the cookies went to computers. She was following in the footsteps of Elsie Mae Meehan and her sister Florence Hoffman. They had the Cupboard for as long as we all can remember.

 

Barb is very involved in other community events and you may recognize her at the Union County West End Fair where she chairs many of the events. Barb's daughter, Dawn Franck, will receive her Gold Award this year. A proud moment for Barb and her daughter as she has followed Dawn from Daisies in a New York Council to her graduation as a Senior Girl Scout in Girl Scouts Heart of Pennsylvania Council. 

       

Barb has the commitment to cookies that we all need from her. We know she is available at many times during the day and night and often takes time away from her family to "do cookies." Barb is committed to Girl Scouting and we would like to offer a GREAT big Girl Scout Thank YOU to this wonderful Union County Girl Scout volunteer.
